XML Validation and Deposition Tool

PepcDB Data File Validation:

The following form provides online data validation of your PepcDB XML data files. The validation program performs a variety of consistency checks against the current PepcDB XML schema. [PepcDB Schema Documentation]

Data files must satisfy these consistency checks to ensure that the included data can be faithfully loaded into the PepcDB.

To use the validation form:

• Select or enter the center name (required).
• Use the "Browse" button to select the XML file to be uploaded.
  You can upload a zipped or gzipped file.
• Select the appropriate schema version.
• Press the UPLOAD button to upload and check the XML data file.
• If the file meets all requirements of the defining XML schema, the file will be saved in the system as a data source.
• If problems are indicated, please correct the file and upload again.
• Explanation of program output.
